New AAMA chapter

We are now the North Florida AAMA chapter, pending final approval.We had our second meeting last Thursday evening and the officers are busy working on the by laws.Decision was made to have meetings the first Thursday of each month.Next meeting will be held May the 5th, here at FCTC at 630.After this meeting, sites will alternate between Palatka and here.We are deciding where to have the meetings in Palatka;my suggestion was "a good eatery".We invite all ionterested persons to join us, whether you are a CMA or MA or a student or just an interested person.We will be organizing events and CEU presentations for those CMA s that need re certification

April 13th our Medical Assisting students participated in a hazmat drill at Flagler hospital.The scenario was "a high school bus collided with a chemical tanker".
